A new food network will be created with AMC in India to focus on the growing business of catering to the corporate and the elite.
The new CGN food network, which will launch with the AMC Networks, will focus on food for the global elite.
AMC has already launched two of its food network channels, Food Network USA and Food Network India, which were launched in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
The network has also been announced for an India-based subsidiary, which is expected to launch this year, said a senior AMC executive.CGN Food Network will be launched with AMC by a subsidiary in India, it will focus mainly on catering to corporate and elite customers, the AMC executive said.
The AMC Networks will also be the major content channel for the new Cgn channel, he added.
“This is a significant step in the journey of CGN, which has been on a journey to become the new leader in food, to serve the Indian and global elite, and to provide them with affordable and high quality content for their lifestyles,” said Amit Srivastava, CEO of AMC Networks.
AMC Networks is India’s largest TV channel, with an average of over 100 million subscribers.
It has an international footprint, including over 100 channels in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom.
